New Sulca 5.3. version is now available for all users. Please note that distribution of Sulca software has been moved from SimulationStore to Semantum. You can contact Semantum support to get your Sulca 5.3 license.

 

The new release includes new features and improvements such as EcoInvent integration, linked processes and improvements to uncertainty calculations. Please find more information on the release below.

 

EcoInvent integration

 

Now we provide optional EcoInvent integration, which allows using EcoInvent database directly with Sulca.

Additionally, we provide an easier way for creating EcoInvent compatible Sulca model and using EcoInvent compatible impact assessment methods. EcoInvent system model databases are provided as separate downloadable packages.

Linked processes

 

Linked processes allow processes on flowsheets to link processes in the model library. Thus, the data is no longer copied, which helps with data updates and system scalability. Linked processes allow overriding any value provided by a base process. 

 

Linked processes are now the default way for adding processes from a library to a flowsheet and how transport processes are created. 

 

 

Uncertainty calculation improvements

 

Version 5.2 introduced possibility to include data uncertainties in the Sulca calculations. In version 5.2.4, certain limitations have been removed and bugs fixed.

 

Sulca 5.3 continues improving EcoInvent uncertainty calculation support by supporting pedigree matrix parameter import with processes and adds missing normal distribution function.
